12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required from the last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Behavioral Health

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other/As Needed weekend // Call required as needed

Required Credentials: CPI or Handle with Care

Years of Experience: 1-2

Equipment Used on Unit: Telehealth; Med Machine; Dinamap; Emergency response

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult

Required Skills/Experience: De-escalation; Communication; Delegation to tech; Assessment; Isolation; Restraint; Medical RN experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Non-BHU nursing experience; Charge RN

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Bipolar; Schizophrenia; Depression; Personality DO.
