Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to titrate cardiac drips

Required Credentials: Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (Max 2 attempts) within 48 hours of offer.

There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per sched (Sat/Sun)

Floating Requirements: Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units

Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area (this could be in the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, even a hallway)

Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses (9 mile distance)

Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hours prior to shift start.

Floating to different units mid-shift can happen. Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible.

Unit: CV Tele B3A:

Patient Ratio: 1/3-4

Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.

Tele Neuro (A3):

Patient Ratio: 1/3-4

Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.

No ICP Monitoring

Medical-Surgical C5: Ortho, Surgical, Oncology

Patient Ratio: 1/4 Days and Nights

Tele: GE Monitors. Central monitoring station tech to read

Medical-Surgical B2C:

Patient Ratio: 1/4 Days and Nights

Tele: GE Monitors. Central monitoring station tech to read.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
