Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

primarily 1:1 in L&D and 1:6 couple care in PP

AWHONN Intermediate Or Advanced Fetal Monitoring.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Laboring patients 32wks and greater, Elective Induction of labor, Medical Induction of Labor, Stable Antepartum Patients, Postpartum Patients, Well Newborns.

Must have' skills: L&D, PP, and circulating experience required

Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Primarily Pitocin per protocol, mag, rarely insulin.

Per hospital policy staff cannot work more than five shifts in a row. We do our best to accommodate traveler schedule requests outside of approved time off.

Weekend Requirements: based on unit needs

Holiday Requirements: based on unit needs

Is there a call or standby requirement: No

Floating Requirements: Travelers required to float to like units within valley (Nampa L&D and Boise L&D).

Scrub Color/Dress code: Blue scrubs provided on unit.

Department specific orientation: Customized based on each traveler, typically 4-6 shifts.

This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review
