Additional Details:

A minimum of 12 months acute care experience in the United States is required. Unit experience must include 12 continuous months.

Shift & Scheduling: Call requirements: Split among the nurses for unit coverage 24/7, Holidays required

Required Credentials: AED required

Floating Requirements: Float to OR when there is no CVOR case

Special Requests: Blocked scheduling CANNOT be approved. Max RTO: 1 week

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Scope of role: The circulating nurse in the operating room is responsible for patient safety, complex open-heart/vascular cases, documentation, workflow coordination, and sterile field support during surgical procedures.

Technology Used on Unit: PICIS/Medhost
