Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

PALS (Required)

APHON (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Pediatric experience required

• 1st time travelers accepted, must have at least 1 year of Pediatric experience to be considered

• Hematology/Oncology experience required

Required Credentials: Current/Active Driver's License or government-issued form of identification. Both front and back are required to be uploaded.

Types of Patients on Unit: Peds Hem/Onc, Med Surg and All Pediatric specialties

Unit/Facility Details: Bed Size: 14

Shift & Scheduling:

• No Call, Every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation.

• Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Floating requirements

• May float to ED for inpatient holds

• May float across NICU/B3 gen floor/PICU
