Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Additional Details:

Note: 3 years or prior OR experience (hard stop requirement)

Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

(rotating days off to meet unit needs)

May be scheduled on weekends

Call Requirements: Roughly one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month

**Flexible on RTO requests --as long as they are willing to make up the time :) **

Level l Trauma Center experience required

Must be predominantly 3/4 in Neuro skillsets

Neuro Experience Required: ALIF, Anterior cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, XLIF

Robotics Experience Required: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Will accept License/BG Hits: approval on case-by-case basis

Return Staff Policy: 1 Year

Modules: -Modules are non-billable for the first 8 hours, any time spent on modules after 8 hours is billable -Modules are completed pre-start, and vary based on specialty

Special Procedures/Unit Details: RNs must have strong exp in trauma, general, neuro, ortho and vasc or thoracic. -General -Urology -GYN/GYN ONC -ENT -Neuro -Ortho -Vascular -Thoracic

Night shift RNs will need experience in all service lines as they will be required to do any and all cases that come to the OR. Must be very strong in Ortho, all neuro(spine and head), General, Trauma with the ability to do or be able to do cases independently in the other services such as Uro, Gyn, GYN-Onc, ENT,robotics, etc.

They would need to be strong enough to step in as a Charge as needed and being the only nurse in house with call for back up.
