Every Other Weekend

For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on the confirmation. Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed

Prior To Acceptance, The Dysrhythmia Exam (Basic) Through Relias Is Required To Be Sent Along With Acceptance. This Must Be Completed Within 24-48 Hrs. Please Note It’s Pass Or Fail And They Get Two Attempts (Test A Should Be Assigned First And If Not Passed, Test B Should Be Assigned For The Retake). A Screenshot Showing The Number Of Attempts Is Also Required.

Tele: Yes, must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.

Report is at the bedside. OT and extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it. Schedules are out 4 weeks. Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves "available" for extra shifts and make trades with other staff. Block scheduling is generally not available.

Floating All other Sacramento facilities. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare, but can happen.

Floor specific orientation: 1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor.
