Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

  • Cervical Cerclage*

  • Pain assessment & management

  • Use of PCA (IV)

  • Postpartum Care and Procedures

  • Foley Catheter insertion

  • Fundus/lochia/perineum care

  • Wound Assessment and Care

  • Fetal Monitoring

  • Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns

  • Spiral Electrode Placement

  • Use of External Fetal Monitoring

  • Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring

  • Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration

  • Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care

  • Telemetry Interpretation

Additional Skills: Screen if no insulin drip exp

Must have OR circulating experience and high-risk experience.
