Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 22 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Special Procedures/Unit Details: Comprehensive Cancer Center, 318 acute care beds. All inpatient units/ 36 beds. Units are specialized by cancer diagnosis. --Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls

Floating Requirements: Floating to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units including: • BMT • Acute Leukemia • Hematology • Medical Oncology • PCU Oncology • Gynecological Oncology • Urology • Colorectal • Surgical Oncology • Corrections Healthcare

Unit Details: Staffing ratios - PCU is 1:3, can be 1:4 w/ mixed acuity, M/S Tele ideally 1:4 but can be 1:5

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics
