Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
***Prior to acceptance, the dys exam through una is required along with acceptance. Must be completed within 24-48 hrs. It’s pass or fail and they get 2 attempts (test a should be assigned first, test b should be assigned for the retake). A screenshot showing the number of attempts is required. we can accept the relias dys exam within the last 12mo if the traveler has previously taken
If your traveler fails the 2nd attempt, they will be made DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and Sac
This position has zero hands on pt care
12 cases per shift on average- can be working on 10-15 cases at a time
Can be working with hospitals from all over
Common duties/ responsibilities "Facilitate transfers (any patient type) from hospitals within Dignity and outside of Dignity.
Will deal with cases after the intake process doing patient assessments vitals, clinical information (patient report). Will find accepting MDs and specialist doctors- have a list of hospitals and services provided and request bed at appropriate facility.
Experience or 'Must have' skills "MUST have a minimum of 2 years of ICU, ED, or transfer center experience.
MUST have acute care experience.
MUST have Cerner or EPIC experience
Will they be responsible for arranging transfers? Facilitate transfers- get the acceptance of the physician to take the patient
Any area specific experience required? ICU, ED, or transfer center
Weekend Requirements Every other weekends
Holiday Requirements Must be able to work holidays if there is a need
Scrub Color/Dress Code "Scrubs-any color as long as clean and professional
Casual - Can wear: jeans- no rips, tears or holes, hoodies- if clean and no large writing"
Unit/Department specific orientation 1 day of general hospital orientation and 3-5 days of orientation in the department- training may be done on any shift.
RTO needs to be very limited to none- rarely can accommodate
