Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation Every Other Weekends, No On-Call required, Holidays Required base on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with TR Band's straight from procedure, experience with Cardiac Drips (Olathe mainly does, Heparin some Butamax, Lasix and Cardizem)

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with the Tikosyn/Sotalol iniation process Experience, 2-5 years of TEL experience

Orientation Requirements: THP will attend the fist 2 days of orientation at the KUKC Campus, on day 3 THP will attend Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training, Day 4 Olathe Director of Nursing training, Day 5 THP will attend virtual Epic training if they are unable to test out
