Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of PCU Float Pool experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience, Teaching Hospital experience

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit/Facility Details: Comprehensive Cancer Center, 318 acute

Special Requests: No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff. Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends - variable based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Floating to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units including: BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, PCU Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, - Colorectal, Surgical Oncology, Corrections Healthcare. -Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls.

Nurse to Patient Ratios: PCU is 1:3, can be 1:4 w/ mixed acuity, M/S Tele ideally 1:4 but can be 1:5

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
