Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required skills and experience: Must have Total Joint Replacement experience and not just fractures. Must have strong ortho experience.

Shift & schedule requirements: EOW or 2 wknd shifts/schedule. Travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation.

Floating requirements: Possibly to 7E, 7W, 10W, 10E.
