Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown.
Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring.
Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal, TR band.
Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Feeding tube care and management.
Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.
Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy skills/experience: Accessing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips.
Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA. Experience with Surgical drains required.
Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management.
Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Previous charge experience preferred.
Teaching hospital experience preferred.
Level I Trauma experience preferred.
Scrub Color: Any solid color.
