Preferred Skills/Experience: -Previous infusion clinic experience highly preferred -Preferred Skills: Infusion Center, Outpatient oncology, Active Immunotherapy, Bladder/Kidney Cancer, Breast Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, Ear/Nose/Throat Cancers, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Liver Cancer, Lung cancer, Melanoma, Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma, Ovarian/Uterine Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Administration of chemotherapy (IV push, continuous, oral), Body fluid handling, Cytotoxic spill management, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Abnormal lab interpretation, Administration of blood/coagulation factors, Port/PICC management, Starting IVs, Antiemetics, Corticosteroids, Neupogen, Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Sepsis, Foley catheter management, Neutropenic precautions, Phlebotomy, Tracheostomy care, Care coordination, Telephone Triage, Patient/Family support, End-of-life care decisions, Management of Skin/Mucous membrane alterations, Neuropathy, and GI symptoms.
Required Credentials: -You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. -P/F Testing: RNs will be required to take a pass/fail Tele exam during orientation. Passing score is an 80%. Most RNs are only allowed 1 attempt. If they do not pass, they will be dismissed and canceled from their assignment
