Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 10 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience.
BSN completion preferred
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: CVICU experience Required. Prior critical care experience required.

Preferred skills and experience: Demonstrated skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring (ICU).

Required credentials: Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam & a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in an immediate cancellation by the facility. Graduate of a School of Nursing. CCHC Pharmacology exam. Driver's License or Passport.

Preferred credentials: Completion of an approved De-escalation Certification Course. TCAR – Trauma Care After Resuscitation certification.

Shift & schedule requirements: Eve/Night. Every other weekend and rotating holiday. Unpaid lunch

Floating requirements: Will float between ICU and CVICU. Potential to float to Med/Surg Tele units in the event there is an operational need and low census.
