Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:

• Ortho-Trauma (ORIF, Ex fix, Amputations), Neuro (Craniotomy, Spinal), General, Robotics (Davinci XI)

• Surgical experience in a tertiary care center

• Pre-Op/PACU (to include ICU skillset in PACU)

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation – If position is posted as weekend only and on call (15 min response time), every 3rd weekend

• Call: Ideally, one overnight per week 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend Fri 1500 – Mon 0700 (this is subject to change as needs change within the department)

• Holiday Expectations: 2/4 major holidays

Floating Requirements: As needed (PreOp/PACU/Floor) – if floated out of peri-op services, will be as helping hands
