Travel Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Nicotine free campus. Must test negative.

No Self Scheduling.

May float to other units in ICU cluster (PICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, IMU).

Must have extensive experience in level 4 NICU (clearly noted on submission packet). Level 1 or 2 NICU experience will not be considered.

Must Pass Nicotine Test.

must have 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NNICU. NCC Neonatal ICU RN preferred.

Travelers are first to float.

RNs should expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing for the facility.

No on call requirements.

Every other weekend is required.

Holidays required, as needed.

Patient population: Typical patient population (diagnosis) / surgical procedures completed: 23 weeks micro-premies, VLBW, usual complications of prematurity, general surgeries, chronic lung, bleeds, spina bifida, diaphragmatic hernia, NEC perforation, gastro, cleft lip/palate/mandible, transfers from surrounding Level II NNICUs, PDA ligations, body cooling.
