Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
10 months of Case Management experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Case Manager

If your traveler has worked for any Providence affiliated facility as a perm staff – they must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel contract.

Open to MSW Care Manager (& have either Associate clinical license or LCISW) or RN Care Manager. Requires a 1) Masters in social work and 2)Washington-issued post-MSW license such as the licensed social work associate independent clinical. (The associate licenses are the precursor to the “full” social work licenses.) Please confirm with submission clinician has the required docs.

Must have case management and discharge experience.

Utilization management experience is helpful but not required.

Documentation/Communication Experience:

Float: Yes, Case manager responsibilities include care coordination, and discharge planning.

Job is on site at Swedish Edmonds Campus and will be remotely assisting Providence Everett Colby Campus.

Clinician Reminders:

Interview availability: Be sure you provided 3 interview times with time zones and confirm candidate availability—no-shows will disqualify them from all future Health System roles.

Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.

Scheduling: Facility scheduling needs must be met; special requests (e.g., block scheduling, late starts) will not be accommodated.

Housing: If applicable - Clinician should secure housing before accepting and be aware of local cost of living.

Compliance: All sensitive onboarding items (labs, background, physical, etc.) must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.

All prestart cancelations may result in DNR to entire Providence health system nationwide.
