Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Step Down Unit experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Additional Details:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Unit/Facility Details: We have a dual unit – PCU/Stepdown and the floor side. On the PCU it is 2-3, on the floor it is usually 4, but can be 5 at times. All nurses can work on either side

Parking: • Monthly parking passes available. Travelers can reach out to Public Safety for parking passed and speak with them about what is available. Security and Parking: 314-362-0750 o North Surface Lot-$73 (price and availability may vary) o Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot- $63 (price and availability may vary) o Clayton Taylor Garage- $73 (price and availability may vary) • For orientation: park in the Laclede Garage (4929 Forest Park Ave, St. Louis Mo. 63108) for which there is a $15.00 charge. Pull a parking ticket and take with you. Barnes does not validate or reimburse for the charge. Wear scrubs. • If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). • If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day. Special Requests:
