Requirements
Experience
12 months of acute care experience within the past 2 years.
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 24 months.
12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations
Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must be able to Read Tele Strips/Have experience working on a Stroke Ward
- Chest tubes, vac dressings, cardiac catherizations, pacemakers, Ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes
- Telemetry, dilt gtts, amiodarone gtts, insulin, Lasix and bumex gtts
Preferred Skills/Experience: Stroke patients

Shift & Scheduling:
- Mostly every other weekend
- Call Requirements: no
Floating Requirements: To any med/surg tele unit
