Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Hawaii license

TNCC (Preferred)

Vaccinations

12-hour shifts - Nights (1845-0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.: Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights, Laulima 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4. Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves

Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units

Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2-10 years’ experience

Floating to other units/departments: Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)

Dress Code: Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs

Procedural Sedation preferred.
