Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Required Skills/Experience: Stroke and STEMI experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma and Pediatrics

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Splinting and Breathing Treatments

Equipment Used on Unit: Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I stat, EPOC, GE monitors

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds – 20 headwall, 4 halls. Patient Ratios – 4:1 (unless low acuity ESI 4 & 5’s then 6:1)

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends
