Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 18 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

NRP (Required)

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date)

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Types: High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries

Unit/Facility Details: Bed Size: 45 bed, 2 OR

This position offers same day interviews

Special Requests: Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend & Holiday rotation if scheduled

Floating Requirements: May float across all campuses to Maternity/L&D units

Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist

May float to MB/PP
