Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Must have recent experience / competency: VV/VA ECMO, IABP (Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps), TTM/Arctic Sun, Impella, CRRT, PA Catheter Guided Therapy

2+ years recent dedicated Cardiac ICU/CCU/CVICU experience

Must have worked in a dedicated CVICU/CICU - must also have strong experience on all advanced therapy modalities.

Must be able to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips

Special Requests: All time off must be included on submission to be considered. Time off not included on submission will not be requested or approved.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Holidays: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s). A holiday includes the day before, day of, and day after the holidays listed

No Call Requirement

Floating Requirements: Will be primary in between CICU and CVICU but is first to float to other IFMC ICUs including Stepdown/Progressive Care/IMC/Tele Units as needed.
