Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

Travel Pairs are not accepted.

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

RNs only - One year of unit experience must be within the last two years

Shift & Scheduling: 36 (unless otherwise noted) Weekend shifts per unit need

Required Skills/Experience: Inpatient acute medical surgical experience. Telemetry.

Preferred Skills/Experience: PCA, epidural, wound vac, IV pumps.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Medical-Surgical. Mostly medical telemetry patients. Our unit is one of the stroke certified units for the hospital.

Equipment Used on Unit: PLUM, Stryker.
