Additional Details:

Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date

Travel Pairs: If you are in a relationship, EMMC will not schedule you on the same days. If you are not in a relationship, you can be scheduled for the same days if not on the same shift/unit. Managers will not guarantee the same schedule for travel pairs.

Guaranteed Hour: 36

Level II Trauma Center – receives air flights in (serve 2/3 of State; closest trauma center within a 2 hr radius)

Certified Stroke Center

Imaging Rooms X-Ray: 3 rooms – 2 general X-Ray; 1 for Fluoroscopy

Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes – depending on type of experience

Patient Types: Care areas: Outpatient, Inpatient – ED/ICU/MedSurg, Operating Room

Primarily Adult/Geriatrics with some Peds/Neonates

Fluoroscopy, C-Arm in OR, Ortho & Ortho Trauma, ICU, MedSurg, ER.

Patients seen in a day (average per day): Varies based on assignment

Skills required: OR/C-arm experience

Experience with above patient types

Floating: If yes, where? fixed location other than OR or portables for inpatient scans.

Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Varies based on need – specifics will be sent over with requisition for interview (check with CRT if you do not receive this)

No call required

Holiday Expectations: done in rotation with other techs

RTO: Manager Approval

Schedule: 4 week schedules to best of ability
