Required skills/experience:
RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.
RNs only - One year of unit experience must be within the last two years
HH Case management experience a must
Home health
Preferred skills/experience: IV therapy, tube feeds, trachs, compression wraps, port access,ostomies, chest tubes, S/p catheters, lad draw,etc.
Shift and scheduling:
Monday-Friday and every 4th weekend
3-4 times a month call back
• Weekend Hours: The schedule is M-F with a comp day off for the weekend worked ex Tuesday and Thursday off on the weekend worked.
• Call Requirements No overnight call. Call back required 2-4 times a month between the hours of 1700-2000. You will be told by 1700 on that day if an extra visit is needed. If by 1700 there is no visit scheduled, you are no longer on call.
Equipment used on unit: clinician will be assigned an agency lap top and I phone with case and chargers, mouse, a nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment and an INR machine along with agency bag. All must be returned upon departure.
Types of patients on the unit: Adult med surg/oncology/Cardiac/Neurological/Respiratory/ Wound Care/GI/GU patient
