Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

36 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

AS completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd

Float Requirements: Primarily PICU and NICU, but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units, EDTC

Required:

3-5 years Peds critical care or NICU.

Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU.

Epic Clin Doc - Preferred

PICU Experience - Required

Vents-Servo I and Servo u, LTV's, Astral and Trilogy, Oscillators, Trach patients, knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPaP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, INO

Patient Types: Manage respiratory care patients, vent management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, treatments

Dress Code: Any professional scrubs

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
