Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Float Requirements: Must be willing to float within hospital and/or up to 25 miles from facility
Must Have Skills/Experience: IV Medicated gtts, Tracheostomy experience, Ventilator, bipap, cpcp, high flow oxygen delivery devices,Unit performs their own phlebotomy and IV sticks
Preferred Skillset/Experience: PCU/ICU experience
Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory failure, sepsis, HHF/Bipap, decompensated liver failure, alcohol withdrawal, polysubstance abuse, psych, GI Bleed, Heart Failure
Personality Fit: includes but not limited to the ability to care for chronic trach/vend dependent patients, neuro-surgical patients, noncomplicated back surgeries, VP shunts, and stable subdural hematoma patients. Other patient populations include post-drips, GI bleed,
ETOH withdrawal, suicidal and behavioral/substance abuse patients. Renal dialysis patients, emergent situations requiring assisting with intubations of unstable patients (which will move to a higher level of care. Other unit procedures include chest tube placement, IV, insertion, blood transfusions, and bedside bronchoscopy.
