Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Michigan license

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, CVVHD/CRRT, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Sheath Removal, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, IV insulin protocols.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience. Skills: Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend req: Every Other. Is on-call req: No.

Floating Requirements: Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units? - Yes, Med ICU.
