Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Shift & Scheduling: 8 or 10 hour shifts - 40 hours per week. Will need to stay late as needed based on cases running over or scheduling. This time is not considered call back. Call one day a week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks.

Must complete both an OR and a Neuro ICU skills checklist to apply.

Must Have:

Large hospital experience - 250 plus beds with level 1 trauma status

Experience working in acute facility with 15 or more OR suites. Outpatient center experience will not be a match.

Experience with robotics, DaVinici preferred

Strong general and ENT

List of procedures in the unit: Circulating nurses who will document and care for patients in the operative setting. This included sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, opening sterile supplies, positioning patients for surgical procedures, documenting within an electronic record, and utilizing/ setting up operating room equipment as directed.

Skills Required: Experience with General surgical cases, GYN, Urology, laparoscopic. Some Neuro/Ortho procedures, experience with navigation.

Must note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.
