Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Required Credentials: Current Driver's License or Government issued photo ID required.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Patient Diagnoses: ischemic/hemorrhagic CVA, TIA, cerebral aneurysm, encephalopathy, brain tumor thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling/clipping, craniotomies, deep brain stimulator placement, VP shunt placement/revision, seizure disorders, multi-level trauma, TBI, chronic vent and vent weaning Special Procedures/Unit Details: Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all MMC Med Surg units

Communication with AIDET, great customer service and phone etiquette is an expectation

Mixed IMC/MS Tele unit - looking for IMC/MS hybrid

Primary Stroke Center Level II Trauma Center Level III Epilepsy Center Abx therapy, anticoagulation therapy, management of VAD, drains, tracheotomies, feeding tubes, O2, EtCO2, Wound care, video EEG

Types of Patients on Unit: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Equipment Used on Unit: Special Equipment: Ventilator, Kangaroo feeding pumps, Baxter IV pumps, Bladder scanner, Combilizer, EZ lift/Stand and ceiling lifts, Braces, splints, immobilizers, traction, fixators, PCA pumps, Epidurals, On-Q pumps, Dynamap

Floating Requirements: Float required if overage on primary
