Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years’ experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
• A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Required Credentials:

• NURSYS
• All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance.

Unit/Facility Details: Our Heart Failure / Stroke Unit is a 42-bed unit dedicated to our patients diagnosed with both neurological and cardiac conditions, such as congestive heart failure or acute stroke. This area is a 1:6 ratio staffed with a group of highly skilled nurses trained to work with these specific diagnoses.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Holidays as required.
• Every other weekend.
• 16-26 weeks contract available.
