Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR NOT BP

• IV insertion and care, central line management

• Wound care and post op monitoring

• Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation

Required Credentials: BCR (Basic Cardiac Rythm)

Preferred Credentials: National certification- Medical-surgical certification

Unit/Facility Details: Free Parking

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: Must work 6 weekend shifts on a 6 week schedule (work 6 shifts out of 12) or every other weekend.

• Holiday Requirements: Must work 12/24 or 12/25 and 12/31 or 1/1

Floating Requirements: Float to 3 Cobb. All adult med surg / telemetry units in house.
