Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Montana license or compact license

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience in a Geriatric Psych Nursing specialty. Highly skilled in De-Escalation.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience working with psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.
Required Credentials:
- All clinicians assigned to Montana State Hospital are required to hold an Advanced Physical Skills (APS) Blue CPI card issued by the Crisis Prevention Institute (www.crisisprevention.com). If you don't already have this certification, you will be enrolled in the necessary course during your first week of orientation.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing.
