Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every other Weekend Commitment (Friday/Saturday nights)

Call Requirements: NA

Float Requirements: Floating required to other in patient areas when home unit is low census

Must Have Skills/Experience: Neuro ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, Care of hemodynamically unstable patient, Care of mechanically ventilated patient, thorough neurological assessment skills.

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Pupillometer, EVD, ICP waveform management, CRRT

Type of Patients on Unit: Ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, post op craniotomy, seizures, encephalopathy, neurologic tumors

Scrub Color: Navy

Any unacceptable attire: Hoodies

Reporting Location: Report to 3 east in Tower building. Must park in employee parking (defined by yellow lined parking spots)
