Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Case Management experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license

Additional Details:

Case Management (Utilization Review) - Required

Required:

Must be RN Case manager with at least 2 years Acute Care Management experience in discharge planning experience

Experience must include at least 6 months at a level 1 or large academic Medical Center hospital working with a variety of inpatient units for medical discharge

Education: Would consider ADN

Caseload: 15 - 20 / day

EMR - Will use naviHealth to send referrals

InterQual criteria or Milliman experience: No, but need to have general understanding of discharge readiness

Will cover all Inpatient units throughout the hospital

Patient Types: Medical discharge (could be some social discharges)

Weekend Requirements: None

Holiday Requirements: Rotated as needed

Orientation: 2 weeks (will include general facility orientation) Will work alongside CM team so will never be working alone.
