Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

PALS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Shift & Scheduling: 7-7, self scheduling to some degree, schedules made out about 30-45 days in advance. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Not required but they can float to tele or OB if they want and have that experience.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2-3 years in specialty.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience

Unit Details: 45 beds total - adult medsurg and pediatric medsurg combined.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: medsurg patients, COPD, post-op, GI bleeds, OBGYN surgeries, ortho

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
