  • Emergency Department -Required Skills: Medication Delivery Systems, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Medication Administration, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Mucomyst, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Care of Patient With, Aspiration, COVID, Pneumonia, Oxygen therapy, Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Oxygen tanks, Trach collar, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Chest Physiotherapy, Drawing arterial blood gases, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Ventilator Management, BiPAP, CPAP, IMV (intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Patient Transport (inter-departmental and ambulance transport), SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Nebulizer, Cold, Hand held, Heated, T-piece, Trach collar, Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures, Intubation Assist, Work Settings, Emergency Department, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care/management, Care of the Infant/Child With -Special Requirements: COPD/asthma exacerbations, swing bed patients with home PAPs, PNA with complications, emergency patients for various ailments, occasional pediatric/infant patients via ED, etc.
