Pharmacist Outpatient.
Shift: Could be rotating 7a-3:30p; 7:30a-4p; or 8a-4:30p.
We are closed on weekends and holidays, unless an Abington-Jefferson Hospital inpatient requires chemo. Should that occur, we come into Asplundh Cancer Pavilion to prepare the chemo, and someone drives it to the hospital (4 miles away).
RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted. Please ensure your traveler does not have any time off planned that will prevent them from completing pre-start compliance on time for the proposed start date. Block Scheduling cannot be accommodated.
2 year oncology pharmacy experience required.
Patient per day: 80-100.
No Floating required.
No on call.
Weekend requirement: Only in emergent situations.
Holiday requirement: Only in emergent situations.
Manager looking for a traveler who is Epic Beacon trained.
Scrubs: Light gray scrubs or professional casual.
Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request.
Orientation Hours: 20.
Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics.
Patient Diagnoses: Cancer - solid tumor, heme, non-heme.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Chemotherapy Bladder Instillations Knowledge of USP 797/800 and cleanroom work requirements
Certifications: PharmD, RPh. BLS Required for all candidates. (AHA Instructor or Provider, ARC, Military acceptable). RQI Acceptable.
