Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is preferred with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.

No Block Scheduling.

Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license. If local, clinician must agree to the lower local pay package to be submitted.

Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service

Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing Preferred

3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service

Influenza Vaccine is Optional

High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500+ deliveries per month with 24 hour in-house Attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage and NICU coverage. Perinatal Transport Program.
