Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends, Call: Sometimes, low census (Standby)

Floating Requirements: Traveler are First to Float, NICU float to Nursery and Peds; Mother Baby (not typical)only if they have that experience, lenient with ped experience, level 3 NICU

Ratios: Peds 1 to1 or 1 to 4, PICU 1 ot 1 or 1 to2

Equipment Used on Unit: Phillips tele - not required to read them

Vents: oscillators, draeger, cpap and high flow nasal cannula

Types of patients: 23 weeks and above

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cooling-experience

Required Skills/Experience: Feeders/growers, No Ecmolevel 3 Or Above For Experience, Must Be Comfortabel With High Frequency Oscilattors And Vents

Unit Details: beds: 4 beds in PICU (future state); NICU 21 beds; Peds 8 beds(ped medsurg acuity)
