Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Operating Room experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required skills/experience: High quality circulating skills in General, GYN (with DaVinci robot); Ortho (total joints with Mako robot), sports med and trauma; Neuro and Ortho Spine (with Globus); Urology; Podiatry, Eyes and some Peds Urology, General and Dental. Experience with 3 surgical assisted robots, including Xi for call cases. >2 years IntraOp Circulating experience, A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Required Credentials: If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

Unit details: Number of Beds: Hospital CAH 25 bed, 6 OR, Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Charge Nurse and OR Scheduler

**Equipment used on unit:**DaVinci Xi robot, Globus Spine Robot & Mako Total Joint Robot

Technology used on unit: Currently paper IntraOp, hospital uses Meditech

Shift and scheduling: Monday- Friday 0700—1530 and post-shift and weekend call required, one post-shift per week and 1 weekend (Fri-Mon) per month. Weekends Every Other

Floating requirements: Surgery staff stay in Surgery, may be needed in SPD

Advanced skills needed: Some pediatric (General, Dental & Urology), ACLS, PALS. Previous scrubbing experience is highly suggested. CNOR is preferred.

Procedures performed on unit: ACDF, ALIF, TLIF, XLIF, PSF; Mako TKA, Mako THA, Total Shoulder, ORIF, Lumpectomy, Mastectomy, RAL Herniorrhaphy, RAL Chole, RAL Appy, TURP, RAL Hysterectomy, Sports Medicine procedures, Cataract, DSAEK procedure, et al.
