Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population: Adult

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with large Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I Facility
• Must have diverse experience.

Shift & Scheduling:

• No on call
• Weekend requirement: Every other
• Holiday requirement: Every other

Types of Patients on Unit:

• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Orientation Hours: 40

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float to all Critical Care Units or to MS or Low Level Monitoring if needed

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

• Patient Diagnoses: Shock Management will be for medication management. Various Anticoagulation (protocols) per unit/diagnosis

Unit Details:

• There are 7 ICUs at LVHN Cedar Crest. 2K MICU/SICU: 32 bed medical-surgical ICU 2KS: 12 bed medical-surgical ICU OHU: 11 bed Open Heart Unit, surgical cardiac CICU: 14 bed Cardiac ICU, medical cardiac TNICU: 14 bed Trauma/Neuro ICU NSICU: 14 bed Neuroscience ICU Burn: 18 beds, mixed acuity

Required Credentials:

• Cert: ACLS, BLS, PALS - ARC may be accepted on case-by-case basis with LVHN approval. Military certifications will not be accepted.
