Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed Hours: 36

All Submissions Must Include A Copy Of Candidate's Unexpired Driver's License

Nurse: Patient Ratios Mainly 1:5-6 for both days & nights on most units (once or twice a month could have 7 patients toward the end of the shift). Depends on acuity of patients.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients CHF, Cardiac cath, CP, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, Ortho, & Oncology (perm staff will administer chemo)

All travelers must take & pass a cardiac rhythm exam.

Every-other-weekend. Sat/Sun for both Days/Nights

Work in the holiday rotation schedule with perm staff

Do you cap ratios when necessary? For example: If an ICU RN is required to float to a lower acuity unit, are they expected to take a full patent load or capped at a ratio of 1:4?" Float Pool RN's will report to the clinical coordinator's office prior to shift start time for unit assignment. RN's could float to all 6 units but will most likely be assigned a 'parent unit' & will only be assigned very basic telemetry patients, within their scope of practice. They must be able to read & interpret strips but will not have to titrate drips.
