Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.

Guaranteed Hours 36 hours per week.

Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.

Common diagnosis / Types of patients Ortho - Joints/Replacements/Fractures.

Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have strong ortho experience.

Weekend Requirement EOW or 2 wknd shifts/schedule.

Holiday Requirement Yes - travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements Possibly to 7E, 7W, 10W, 10E
