Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 10 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Labor and Delivery Management, Circulate for C-section, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care, Preceptor skills, See Text Box for addl req, and Epic Hardstop.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Scrub for C-Section and Telemetry Interpretation.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only. Cert: NRP - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).

Preferred Credentials: C-EFM *will take in lieu of Advanced AWHONN.

Unit/Facility Details: Looking for a strong caregiver who can support PM shift. Parking Cost: Free Parking.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Open to accommodating block schedule: Per manager discretion.

Shift & Scheduling: Must be flexible working weekends. Weekend req: Depends on length of contract.

Floating Requirements: To mother baby. May be required to float to providence little company of Mary medical center San Pedro. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
