Will you accept a first-time traveler? Only if they have Home Health Experience.
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: S/P orthopedic surgeries, Wound care, Chronic/Acute CHF and COPD, s/p cardiac surgeries, genitourinary, IV antibiotic teaching/central line care, med pre-fills, lab draws.
Skills required: Nursing skill set to care for the common diagnosis listed above.
Floating: If Bangor Territory Census is low may ask traveler to support other agency locations, if census allows.
Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Typically once a month, could be more dependent upon staffing.
Monday thru Friday, weekend and on call rotation, business hours.
Call requirement: Overnight - 5 PM to 8 AM. Rotation is typically twice a month but could be more dependent upon staffing.
Holiday Expectations: Will be required if assignment aligns with major holiday (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) RTO: Manager approval.
Shift times: 5 (8) hour days, Monday thru Friday, weekend and on call rotation, business hours 8 AM to 5 PM.
Other notes: Scrub Color: Business casual or scrubs. No certain color requirement.
