Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Experience with AcuDose is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Minnesota license

No Block Scheduling.

Shift or schedule requirements: Rotating 12-hour shifts D/N. It usually is about 2-3 weeks staff shift.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Every other weekend and rotating holidays.

For maternity leave coverage, so dates may fluctuate.

Care for postpartum, stable antepartum, pediatric patients, newborns, GYN, Med-Surg overflow and may be 2nd RN in our SCN.

Census varies-average 5 couplets, 2 pediatrics, 1 gyn, 2 labor, 4 SCN.

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:3 mom/baby couplets, 1:5 GYN/Med-Surge patients, 1:3-4 pediatrics

Navy scrubs

Equipment and unit orientation on first day.

Requires 2 years of OB/Peds experience
